Adaptations of Our Orthodox & Protestant Brethren's 'Feast Days'
There are a few of us who, coming from other faith traditions, as well as having married into other faith traditions, still appreciate the special 'Feast Days' of those Christian calendars. So, as we press on in striving to live scripturally & peaceably, as much as we are able, with all men and women - we're using the opportunity to learn more about key Bible figures who have impacted and are still impacting our Jesus-following journeys by making space for future coordinated, "one accord" celebrations with what we call 'Bible Banquets'. While our clergy do, in fact, learn about certain church fathers & mothers, the primary difference for us, in accordance with our faith tradition regarding such occasions, is that we are only dining, scripturally, on the fascinating lives and times of persons found in the Protestant, canonical Holy Bible.
Currently, these are optional, personal choice observances for our newly converted members and affiliated friends to develop, produce & engage in services and/or programs in remembrance and further exploration of the featured Biblical ancestor, but are on track for greater engagement in the Spring season of 2025.
